Turinabol, also known as 4-Chlorodehydromethyltestosterone or Tbol, is an oral androgenic anabolic steroid (AAS) that is popular in the bodybuilding community. It was first used in the 1960s and discovered in East Germany. It was primarily used in the medical field. In 1990, it was discovered that It was a steroid used by East Germany to dominate the 1974–1989 Olympic Games. As soon as it became apparent that it built muscle mass, it was almost immediately abused in the sports world.
